RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It refers to files with no trouble read by a computer called XML files that without human intervention update information. This information is fetched by a user's RSS feed reader that converts the files into the latest updates from websites in an easy to read format.
By the addition of so much new content everyday on the web, it can be really tough to keep up with what’s happening online. There are a numbers of different ways people are trying everyday every minute, to visit specific websites, doing Google searches, or having trust on other social media to keep them informed. And the solution that sometimes gets ignored during the years is the RSS feed.
And do you know what you want to follow and watch everyday, without having to let it pass which is very important? That is where the RSS feeds come into action. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, mainly a library of news all in one place.
Do we use RSS now days? Is it still used online?
We can say to it yes and NO, RSS feeds are definitely still present, but they aren’t rule as they were ruling before. Now a day's social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and others have become the visit spot, to watch feeds, and learn about the latest content.
What Makes RSS Special?
We prefer to explain it this way: RSS feeds give readers a method to keep up with their much-loved blogs, news sites and other websites. Anyone can choose the sites they wish to subscribe to, and then get updates in one centralized location. In essence, RSS allows the content to come to you, instate that you go for the search of it.
How does an RSS aggregator work?
In the world of technology and in computing, a news aggregator, also termed a feed aggregator, feed reader, news reader, RSS reader or simply an aggregator is client programmed software or a web application that aggregates syndicated web content such as online newspapers, blogs, podcasts, and video blogs in one location for easy viewing and reading purpose.

Can you use RSS Aggregator in WordPress?
WordPress RSS Aggregator plugins lets WordPress users aggregate as many RSS feeds as they want to aggregate. Users can then use short codes to display the imported RSS feed on their WordPress websites. WP RSS Aggregator also includes premium add-ons, including feed item categories, keyword filtering, RSS feed widget, and many more.
Final Conclusion
At the end, of this post we came to know that the RSS feeds are a very useful tool in the world of technology. And at some point we still need it. The main benefit of RSS is that instead of having to go out to each individual website and start searching to see if there is any new content, content comes to you in one centralized place where you can go see it read it and make use of it.
And also it makes available an excellent variety of things we are interested in, without having to waste our time or being trap by different unnecessary things which we don't need, or verifying a web page to see if it has been updated with new information recently.
In the End, We want you to leave your comment and feedback for us, because it encourages us to work harder for you in the future. Thank you!
